I was planning to apply for the Music Conservatory on September, in the Vocal department, but my current teacher told me that it would be impossible.
In fact, the Conservatory's teacher doesn't like her students having two teachers at the same time, because it would interfere their progression/learning. Maybe she's right, she's probably right ... but I don't think I can make a choice right now .. ;__;
I was so upset when he told me that, because of all the time and energy I've put into the preparation of next year.

Fortunately, there may be solutions ... not as good as the original plan though. I could apply for another department, so that I could learn sol-fa (solfege, solmization ? Oo) and other useful knowledge (composition, history of music ...), but I wouldn't have Vocal classes ; so I'd stay with my current teacher. I don't think that's the best option, because I wouldn't get any official qualification/degree. Well ... I don't know when I'll find another solution, but it may take some more time ... and energy.
